Description of Services
The Community Recovery Center (CRC) reaches far into the community, offering activities and services to better equip individuals and families with the tools and resources necessary to restore their lives after suffering from a variety of trauma, especially coping with the challenges of alcohol, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
Services at the Community Recovery Center include
- substance and alcohol twelve step meetings, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings
- social skills workshops
- access to vocational training and
- literacy courses
Support Groups
- peer-led support groups
- trauma support groups
- gender specific groups
- parenting classes
- mental health education and support groups
Activities include movie nights and other recreational and leisure activities, dinners, coffee hours, book clubs, walking/running clubs, exercise classes, meditation and yoga, bible studies and tobacco cessation. Other services and activities can be added as requested by the Program Manager. Relapse prevention is also a component of our Center.
